This month's show at Tortuga features Ginny Gaskill, reading from her recently published book! Ginny is a local ABQ poet whose book, I Begin, explores the territory of grief, perseverance and transcendence. Her feature is sure to move you, so do not miss this evening!

Also- in honor of National Peace Day, any poet who reads a poem honoring the theme of peace will be entered into our drawing for a free gift card!

As always, we will have our infamous, anything goes open mic and a qualifying slam, with points going towards selecting our Women of the World Finals stage!
