Slam of Enchantment

Join us for the brand new Slam of Enchantment poetry series as we kick down the metaphorical doors with this special Halloween themed poetry slam and open mic featuring the inedible Rich Boucher!

(as sweet as his work is, you can't eat him!)

Rich Boucher resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rich served two terms as a member of the Albuquerque Poet Laureate Program’s Selection Committee, and as a member of the 2014 Albuquerque City Slam Team. His poems have appeared in Gargoyle, The Nervous Breakdown, Apeiron Review, The Broadkill Review, Menacing Hedge and The Legendary, among others, and he has work forthcoming in Chaos Poetry Review, Cultural Weekly, The Ditch Rider, and the Write Bloody Publishing anthology MultiVerse, due out in the fall of 2014.

This is an all ages, free speech reading with a Halloween theme - so anyone can sign up to rock our mic, or compete in our slam! We’ve got a few surprises in store for you - including audience participation games and prizes, plus a "unique" costume contest

We encourage everyone who attends to wear their best costume for a shot at winning a prize!

Suggested donation $5.
