Thursday March 15: Bowls, Hands, SMASH Bus and Games!

As the new student art show, "Building Community" is being prepared, Tortuga is the place to be. On Thursday. Vicky Bolen will bring bowls from her "Soup is Love" project and they will be available for sale starting at 1pm.

The "Hands" exhibit is on display and takes more than one look in order to see everything.

Shelley will have the SMASH Bus (aka portable art studio) in front of Tortuga to help all to create their own papier mache bowl. (1-5pm)

Things don't stop there- starting at 6pm, we remain open for game night which includes a potluck. Why not bring some soup to share and purchase a bowl made by community members?

Proceeds of all sales go to OffCenter for the Arts.
