Hi Friends,
As some of you have probably heard, we have sold Tortuga. We are glad to let everyone know that the new owners are Remarque Print Workshop. We will continue to run things at Tortuga until the end of December 2023 at which time Remarque will take over the building.
Leading up to that date, we are hosting “The Last Great American Whale” with Santiago Pérez in October & “Community Threads” with Andrew Fearnside, Logan, Larry Schulte, Laura Balombini & Rand Barker in November.
We have had 12 good years at Tortuga and have experienced amazing music, art and events. Best of all we have met the best people! Our lives are enriched because of the experience of bringing Tortuga into the world.

Mystic Minstrel, Chad Wilkins, is an American/Australian singer-songwriter bringing heart-songs that reveal a better way for a generation in transitional times on our planet! From his lively, progressive grooves, to his deeply prayerful chants, spanning many genres, Chad’s rootsy folk anthems carry themes of love, gratitude, risk, honour, and pure vibrant LIFE – giving voice to our cry for spiritual transformation, harmony with the Earth, and hope for a bright future.
Touring extensively, Chad’s performance style is unique and spontaneous – whether performing solo, with his full band, or anywhere in between, he guides his listeners through an interactive journey ranging from dancing celebration to mindful meditation to sing-along declarations.
Gabrielle Euphoria is a singer songwriter based in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia. Her songs are a call to the hearts of all, to awaken and remember the truth of who we are here to be.
Holding faith in the healing power of music, she carries songs that deliver medicine for the earth, the sacred elements and for all of life.
